Reformatics Labs is where Reformatics builds and runs its own technology products. For over a decade the firm has advised governments and organisations on reform across three continents - work that kept running into the same wall: the data was scattered, the tools did not exist, and off-the-shelf software did not fit the problem. So we build our own. Regional data platforms, discovery products and operational systems - designed, engineered and hosted end to end by one team.

What we are

A product studio inside a consulting firm.

Reformatics Labs is not an outsourcing shop and does not sell development hours. Every product here is one we own, run and are accountable for - from the database schema to the server it is deployed on. Consulting gives us the problem; the Labs give it a product.

Our roadmap comes out of real advisory engagements, not a market survey. If a product exists here, it is because the need was met first-hand.

Owned end to end

Product design, engineering, data and infrastructure sit in one team on our own servers. No vendor lock-in, no black boxes, no waiting on someone else's release cycle.

Regional economic data, in one place

An interactive data platform for the CASCA region - the five Central Asian states (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan) and the three South Caucasus countries (Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia). Explore basic demographics, macroeconomics, trade, energy, agriculture and oil & gas from a single map interface; select one country or several, benchmark them against the rest of the world or against the EU and EEU, and export any view to Excel. Built for analysts, investors and policy teams who would otherwise spend weeks assembling the same numbers by hand.

Private areas

Everything else is behind a login.

Not every product should be public while it is being built, and client work never should be. Both live in their own protected area of this site - reachable only with credentials we issue directly.

How we build

Four rules we do not bend.

Privacy is a schema decision

If a product promises not to hold your data, it should have nowhere to put it. We enforce that in the database, not in the terms of service.

Honest output beats full screens

A confident wrong answer costs more than an empty one. Where a product cannot answer well, it says so - no filler, no engagement bait.

Boring, proven technology

Well-understood frameworks and relational databases, deployed on infrastructure we control. Novelty goes into the product, not the stack.

Build the second version first

Multi-tenancy, versioned APIs and data export are designed in from the start. They are what turns an internal tool into a product.
